KM Big Bike Ride 2019

On Sunday 28th April 2019 the KM Charity Team will host its annual KM Big Bike Ride sponsored by Vattenfall.

Choose from a gentle 50km route or a more challenging 100km course both heading out from Betteshanger Country Park, A258, Deal, Kent CT14 0BF.
* Hot/Cold Food and drink at finish available, mid-ride refreshments for all riders
* Free sportive photograph of you during the bike ride
* Timing Chips
* Goody Bag and medal
Please note: Due to insurance purposes this ride is not open to anyone under the age of 12. Riders aged 12-17 must have a parental consent form signed by a parent or legal guardian and must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

If you are raising money as this is a collaborative event Eva’s Angels will receive 70% of sponsor monies, with the remaining 30% going to the KM Charity Team. Any profits KM Charity Team make from its share will be used on its children’s road safety work in Kent. Gift Aid collected on manual sponsor forms is retained by KM Charity Team and Gift Aid raised using our own Virgin Money Giving sponsorship page is split 70/30 between Eva’s Angels and KM Charity Team. Participants are required NOT to set-up their own online donation page not linked to the KM Charity Team page. All instructions on how to create your linked Virgin Money Giving page are sent out post-booking

There is a large car park on site. Check-in will take place between 8am and 10am. Start time is 9am (no riders will be able to leave prior to this to allow for final route signage and marshalling checks)

BOOKING FOR SOMEONE ELSE: If you are making the booking but not actually taking part, this page must still use your personal details in the fields below (including YOUR NAME and address) or the credit card purchase will not go through. Once you have booked we will send you an email to ask the details of the participants – and you can then provide us with the names and contact details of participants at that point.

Note: KM Big Bike Ride is staged as a fundraising event to support the educational services delivered by the KM Charity Team. Booking charges and corporate sponsorship, together with our share of sponsorship raised by participants, are put towards the educational work of the KM Charity Team in the county’s schools.
