The 24th annual charity walk is staged in Kent by the KM Charity Team, and this year will be held on Sunday, June 23rd 2019.
Leaving from the beautiful Grade II listed mansion Mote House, Maidstone, participants will have the choice of a gentle five-mile route, or a more challenging 10-mile route for keen ramblers. Both are designed to be varied, interesting and fairly flat with some occasional hills. As always, the walk will take you along the pretty highways and byways of the stunning Kent countryside, passing by the beautiful Leeds Castle on the 10 mile route.
This is a lovely gentle way to raise money for this excellent cause, which can be enjoyed with your family or with a group of friends or colleagues. Any individual fundraiser raising over £200 will be entered into a draw to win 2 x Eurostar tickets to Paris, Brussels or Lille.
The walk will give superb views of our beautiful countryside as an added perk for participants.
Back in the beautiful mansion gardens we will have a BBQ supplied by Mote House, as well as food and drink stalls. You will be able to listen to Kent band Acoustic Tones and will be rewarded with a goodie bag and a medal on completion of the walk.
Children on check in will be given activities for the route from the Kent Wildlife Trust and join in other activities when they arrive back at Mote House.
We would love to attract more families to the KM Charity Walk, and for 2019 we will introduce a summer scarecrow competition with Kent schools, clubs and charities, who will be able to enter their scarecrow creation and have the chance of winning a cash prize.

The charge is a flat rate of £2.50 for the day, however it will be cashless so only Card or on the Pay by Phone App payments.
All ages are welcome, and children under 16 go free when you book online.
Sponsorship money you raise should be brought along to the event and presented to the finance team. 70% of sponsorship money raised goes to Eva’s Angels, and 30% will go to the children’s road safety department at the KM Charity Team.

Do not book tickets for under 16s as they go free. Walkers aged 16 and over must pay the booking fee.
